My friends and I went on this study abroad trip and we utilize Worldstrides to provide us our flight and hostel. Load and behold the "fun" started while we were on our plane to Europe. The now defunct Air Berlin was our flight and unbeknown by us Air Berlin was on the...Read more

I purchased the Washington DC trip for my son. He broke his leg 1 week before the trip so he could not go. I asked for some assistance since this is a rare event. While I did not purchase travel insurance I expected some kind of human compassion. Nothing they could do....Read more
They bait and switch on you. They offer a discount off of their outrageous prices if you sign up right away. Telling you that you will get your money back if you purchase and then cancel. then once you do, they tell you you get a voucher that is good for future trips,...Read more
Worldstrides - Refund Policy
Read the "fine" print on the cancellation policy. Now am stuck with a $300 refund that can ONLY be used for a Worldstrides booked trip. Unfortunately my daughters school was not clear on the refund policy and didn't relay the correct messaging. Now I'm out $300.
Worldstrides - Tour Guide complain
Well it was good overall, but when we went to the Jefferson memorial our tour guide was really mean and rude an elderly man who was only standing by and giving us extra information on Jefferson and she was like "can you please just leave your giving me all this tension". And this man just happened to know more than she did.
Worldstrides Tour Booking Review
Worldstrides changed the trip destination with no option for a full refund. I paid for my daughter to go to France for a week but now she's going to London for the first half and then France. Watch out! They can legally change your destination!
My daughters trip was set up for ez pay....final payment was rejected which was my fault, but only communication i received wad saying that i was no longer enrolled in ez pay not that payment was not accepted. Now i was hit with an additional $100 due to late fees when...Read more

I didn't like
- Lack of advanced notice or planning
- Cost outrageous for what we received
- Too many children in one hotel room
You would be better off to save the money for this trip and go to Washing DC with your family on your own, it would be a better time and it would probably be cheaper overall. The first day (Monday) was a travel day; we flew into Reagan International and were bussed for...Read more

- Would of starved my child if i had not been there
Arrived to airport with no one to pick us up. Shuttled ( after waiting for a new friver to arrive) to Smithsonian which was closed. Our program leader was not very knowledgeable and didnt offer many facts. Day two taken for 2.5 hr trip to Smithsonian but was there 1 hr...Read more
World Strides counts on kids not being sophisticated enough to understand how their parents are getting ripped off. As others have said too much packed into too little time, and, as a result, very little learning takes place. I don't know why WS puts the kids on buses...Read more
I signed my son up for the DC trip and selected EZPay. Worldstrides was supposed to deduct $49.00 from my checking account. 2 days later I discovered that they deducted the entire cost of the trip from my checking account ($2,340). My email confirmation shows EZPay. I...Read more
I went along with my son's school to DC and NYC, worst experience ever. There was one student from the other school who was totally obnoxious, rude, disruptive, loud and was almost taken off the plane and the teachers and tour guide did NOTHING!! This was a very...Read more
